Coaching and Community Program

As executives grow older, the questions they face often shift from achievement to meaning, from advancement to impact. Executives Over 50 was created to help individuals successfully navigate the challenges and opportunities that arise in both professional and personal life as they age. Whether you are continuing to work, transitioning careers, or designing a post-corporate chapter, this program offers structure, community, and support during a pivotal stage of life.

Our Mission

The mission of Executives Over 50 is to help individuals successfully navigate the challenges and opportunities of aging while remaining purposeful, engaged, and fulfilled. This work is not about slowing down—it is about redefining success, maintaining momentum, and making intentional choices that reflect who you are and who you want to become.

How Prepared Are You for What Comes Next?

Many professionals spend decades preparing for work but very little time preparing for life beyond traditional career structures. Questions around identity, purpose, contribution, financial security, health, and relationships often surface simultaneously. Executives Over 50 provides a thoughtful, supportive environment where these questions can be explored honestly and productively, without pressure or predefined answers.

Our Community and Programs

Every member of Executives Over 50 is part of a carefully curated group of 10 to 12 like-minded individuals. These groups are intentionally designed to maximize trust, engagement, and long-term connection. Members are matched to ensure meaningful interaction, shared values, and diverse perspectives that enrich the experience.

Groups are facilitated by a professional coach and typically meet online for 90 minutes each week, with members often geographically dispersed. There are also opportunities to meet face-to-face. Within these groups, members help one another define goals, stay accountable, and move forward while offering challenge, encouragement, and insight.

A Network That Extends Beyond the Group

In addition to the core group experience, Executives Over 50 offers access to additional programs and a broad network of experts and specialists. These resources support members across key areas including career direction, entrepreneurship, health and wellness, personal finance, and overall life design. The goal is to ensure members are supported holistically, not just professionally.

The Benefits of Membership

Members consistently describe the value of Executives Over 50 as both practical and deeply human. The program offers a safe, supportive environment among peers who understand the unique challenges of this life stage. Members gain access to networks built over decades, benefit from diverse perspectives, and participate in professionally facilitated discussions that help generate solutions to real challenges.

Many also value the simple but powerful opportunity to step outside the confines of daily life. Most importantly, members repeatedly highlight that by helping others in the group, they inevitably help themselves—gaining insight, clarity, and renewed purpose along the way.

Older Executives Make Better Employees

Research continues to show that older employees and executives bring unique strengths to the workplace. Studies indicate they are more likely to engage in proactive behaviors, seek new challenges, and pursue learning opportunities. In roles that require experience, judgment, problem-solving, and social skills, older professionals often outperform their younger counterparts.

In fact, many executives are at their most focused and productive between the ages of 50 and 80. Executives Over 50 is built on the belief that experience is not a limitation—it is an advantage.

Be Your Own Hero

As employees, many of us strike an unspoken bargain—security and opportunity in exchange for becoming who our organization needs us to be. When I went independent in my mid-50s, I discovered a second bargain: freedom paired with uncertainty, self-doubt, financial concerns, and moments of profound loneliness. That experience forced me to confront myself honestly and ultimately accept who I am, strengths and flaws included.

The lesson I now pass on is simple but powerful: it is not what you do that defines your life, but who you are. And only you can make that choice. Executives Over 50 exists to support that realization and help individuals live it fully.
