It’s endlessly fascinating to help entrepreneurs/business owners and executives who have just become a CEO make the transition to becoming a true business leader. The first big hurdle is helping them understand which traits and capabilities actually got them the job and, far more perplexing, convincing them that true leadership is less about what they do and everything to do with how they’re being. And by that I mean intentionally being empowering, inspiring and motivating.
The real transformation begins when they see first-hand just how powerful it is “to be” when before they were focused mainly on doing great work.
