Truth is What Helps Us Predict the Future. Going Beyond Truth Helps Us Create the Future.

Truth is What Helps Us Predict the Future. Going Beyond Truth Helps Us Create the Future.

I’ve always trusted something deeper than logic: intuition.

  • It led me from composing music to earning an MBA.
  • Then into investment banking.
  • Then into strategy consulting.
  • And finally, to the work I do now—helping leaders shape what comes next.

Some people saw my journey as irrational. But intuition has its own logic. It draws from memory, experience, and the unconscious in ways that are hard to explain—but often, powerfully right.

The most meaningful transformations I’ve experienced—personally and professionally—have come not from following what was objectively true, but from imagining what could be.

As individuals, that’s where our power lies: in going beyond truth.

But here’s what I also learned:

When you’re trying to move hundreds or hundreds of thousands of people, intuition isn’t enough.

  • You need something they can hold.
  • You need something they can believe.
  • You need data—credible, shared, and grounded—to make the future visible and compelling.

It’s not that data drives the best decisions. It’s that data enables collective movement.

Today, in my work with leaders and teams, I help them blend both: The deep, intuitive knowing that guides bold vision—and the shared, persuasive truth that moves people forward together.

Because the future isn’t just predicted. It’s created.
